How does the self-cleaning button work?
Brush her as you normally would, then press the button on the handle. The bristles retract into the head and the fur slides off in one piece — you drop it in the bin and the brush is ready for the next pass. No picking, no comb, no scissors.
Is it gentle enough for my cat?
The bristle tips are rounded, so they slide through the coat and lift loose hair without scratching the skin underneath. It is safe for cats of all ages — kittens and older cats included — as long as you keep the pressure light and follow the direction the fur grows.
Does it work on long-haired cats?
Yes. Long coats are exactly where a brush fills up fastest, which is where the button earns its keep — you empty it mid-session in a second instead of stopping to clean it out. For a coat that is already badly tangled, work the knots loose first, then brush.
What is it made of, and how do I clean it?
Non-toxic plastic with no high-concern chemicals, and BPA-free, so it is safe for daily use. The button does the day-to-day cleaning for you; every so often, wipe the bristles and the head with a damp cloth and let it dry.
